What we store

We store your account email, session records, purchase identifiers and entitlements, and the search records you choose to save. Google sign-in stores your verified email and Google account identifier to connect your paid order to your account. Existing password accounts retain a salted password hash. Before account setup, a paid order is linked to its checkout email and a secure browser purchase cookie. Records can include a title, source, status, note, and next-action date. We do not need Social Security numbers, bank information, identity documents, or claim credentials. Do not put those in your notes.

Payments and service providers

Stripe handles checkout and payment-card data. We store order status and payment references, not card numbers. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to run the service and send account or purchase messages. Fonts may load from Google Fonts, which receives your connection information.

How we use information

We use account information to authenticate you, deliver purchases, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain transaction records. We do not sell your personal information. Submitting our optional AWeber opt-in form subscribes you to MoneyDrop emails and offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails. Creating a paid member account does not by itself subscribe you to the promotional list.

Cookies and retention

We use a necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. On the sales page and checkout we also store a first-party cookie named md_drop for up to 180 days. It records a visit count, whether this browser reached checkout, whether the Action Templates box was checked, and the time of the first recorded visit. It contains no name, email, or payment data. We use it only to show a reminder on a later visit to this site. Buying Starter, or a later visit while Starter is already on the account, clears it. You can also delete md_drop in your browser. A same-tab marker in session storage keeps that reminder from repeating during the visit that set it. LaunchDock measures campaign visits, submitted opt-ins, and verified purchases using campaign and rotator identifiers stored in your browser and a campaign cookie lasting up to 30 days. IsYourTrafficReal measures traffic quality on our main sales page. Jovra stores a click id in a first-party cookie named jv_cid for up to 90 days. After a verified purchase, the thank-you page reports that click id and the amount Stripe charged. It does not receive the account email or the card number. These services receive technical request data such as IP address and browser information. AWeber hosts our opt-in form and processes the email address you submit. Account and purchase records are kept while needed to provide access and meet legitimate recordkeeping obligations. You can delete tracker entries yourself and request account deletion by email; required transaction records may be retained.
